Radio Redwood is a community station in Christchurch on 107.5 FM, with a classic-hits and older-leaning mix aimed at mid-life listeners. Started by John Downey as an amateur radio project in 1973, it began broadcasting as a community music station in 1997 and moved through a series of home-built setups before settling into its Studio Five facility in 2004.
